EVANSVILLE, Ind. — May 28, 2026 — GrayMatter today announced the opening of new operations in Evansville, Indiana, expanding the company’s footprint into one of the Midwest’s fastest-growing economies. The new location serves as a regional anchor for GrayMatter’s core pillars — Factory Transformation, Brilliant Operations and Industrial Automation — supporting the life sciences manufacturers, data center operators and infrastructure leaders driving Indiana’s next chapter of growth.

Matthew Smith to Lead Evansville Operations

Matthew Smith will serve as Operations Manager for GrayMatter’s Evansville location. A respected leader in the regional manufacturing community, Matthew joins GrayMatter most recently from Mead Johnson Nutrition, where he was in senior operations and engineering roles supporting one of Evansville’s most iconic life sciences employers.

An Indiana native and longtime Evansville resident, Matthew has deep ties to the region’s manufacturing workforce and a track record of building durable teams.
