FBI Take: Inside the Current Landscape of Industrial Cyber Security
Presented by Keith Mularski, Head of FBI Cyber Initiative
In the midst of recent ransomware attacks, it’s hard to grasp the reality of what’s happening. Keith Mularski, Head of the FBI Cyber Initiative will break down the current threat landscape for industrial companies and highlight the lessons businesses can draw from recent data breaches.
Keith was one of the Special Agents who penetrated and took down the international Darkmarket criminal-carding forum. Keith also investigated one of the biggest threats in US History — the Robert Hanssen (former FBI) espionage case.
“Our FBI office saw foreign operators targeting Western Penn industry — US Steel, the United Steelworkers, Alcoa, Westinghouse, and so on,” Mularski said. “This was having an effect on jobs, on the economy, and we couldn’t just stand by.”
