Warrendale, PA – GrayMatter, a leading consulting and integration company dedicated to solving industrial data and control problems, today announced its partnership with Bit Stew Systems, a global leader in providing Software Defined Operations for the Industrial Internet.
Reducing time to value for the Industrial Internet of Things ecosystem
The partnership will allow GrayMatter to offer Bit Stew’s MIx platform to solve data integration challenges for the Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT).
“The Industrial Internet of Things has moved from vision to reality in our core markets,” said James Gillespie, CEO of GrayMatter. “Our customers look to us to provide industry and technology experience, and we are excited to continue helping industrial organizations make smarter decisions by connecting assets to the IIoT and capturing data.”
After installing the solution in 2011, BC Hydro, a primary electric provider in British Columbia, Canada, improved deployment management, energy visualization, and better advanced network communications management.
PG&E, a natural gas and electricity provider in California, U.S., was able to visualize construction work up to seven weeks out, anticipate outages and prepare mitigation plans by utilizing Bit Stew’s solution.
This partnership with Bit Stew Systems follows an addition of two veteran automation professionals, Alan Hinchman and Coleman Easterly – with a combined 50 years of experience – to head up GrayMatter’s water/wastewater and manufacturing divisions, respectively.
In addition, GrayMatter moved its corporate headquarters to a state-of-the-art, Class-G green-certified office building in Warrendale, PA back in June. The move to the new building, located in the 223-acre Innovation Ridge Advanced Technology and Office Park near Cranberry Township, was also spurred by the company’s consistent growth.
